Ketki Dave resumes work 2 days after her husband Rasik Dave’s demise

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress Ketki Dave, who lost her husband Rasik Dave a couple of days ago, is back at work because she doesn’t 'want anyone to suffer because of her.’ Actor Rasik Dave, known for appearing in Hindi films and shows, died on July 29 after a prolonged illness. In a recent interview, Ketki shared that she resumed work two days after her husband’s death, and did not take a break to mourn.

The actress said that she had been taught since she was a little child to make sure that her personal life would not interfere with her professional life. “I don't want people to be a part of my grief. People should be included in one's happiness. I get into the character instantly and Ketki Dave's personal life does not come into the character. Yesterday, the play was in Surat. I went there too. I have reported for work even when I was unwell. A project does not involve only me. It involves the entire team. The shows are booked in advance and I don't want anyone to suffer because of me.”

She claimed to have reported to work while ill, according to the publication. As Ketki continued to discuss how she balanced her professional obligations and personal anguish, she said that when she is on stage, she is only Ketki Dave, the actress. The Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya actor further stated that she immediately enters the role as soon as filming begins.

Ketki and Rasik were married for more than four decades. In 2006, the two even appeared together on the TV reality series Nach Baliye. The couple has two children, son Abhishek Dave and a daughter Riddhi Dave. According to his mother-in-law, legendary actor Sarita Joshi, Rasik passed away on Friday night after four years of kidney problems. Sarita further disclosed that Rasik was on dialysis and had kidney problems, high blood pressure, and was feeble.
