"I'd like Salman Bhai to attend my Bachelor Party," says Mika Singh before premiere of Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti

Singer Mika Singh is making headlines again and this time it is neither for a song nor some untoward controversy. Rather, the Jumme Ki Raat singer is in news for his upcoming show Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti, in which he would seek a prospective bride for himself.

Post the news of Mika's swayamvar broke out, his friend comedian Kapil Sharma reacted by saying that he will be organising a bachelor party for Mika.

When asked for his take on Kapil's offer, Mika said, “Haan abhi dekho. We party everyday, sometimes he comes to my place and sometimes I go to his. So that is really the best part about this show - that he appeared on it, and he didn’t participate as a celebrity but as a brother, and effortlessly showcased our brotherhood and friendship - that this is what we are. What we are normally in real life, is how we are on the show too.”

When asked as to which Bollywood actor he would like to attend his bachelor party, Mika Singh very promptly said, “Salman Bhai."

Noteworthy, the singer shares a very close bond with Salman Khan and has lent his voice for the superstar for chartbuster songs like Dhinka Chika from Ready (2011) and Jumme Ki Raat from Kick (2014).

Now coming to Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti, the show has been produced by SOL Productions and will feature 12 contestants who will try to impress Mika.

Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti was launched at the Ummed Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on 07 June. Many singers from the industry performed at the launch event, including Shaan (who is also hosting the show), Bhoomi Trivedi and Jaspinder Narula.

The show is scheduled to premiere on Star Bharat on June 19.
