EXCLUSIVE: Paras Kalnawat SLAMS Anupamaa Actress Nidhi Shah Aka Kinjal For Speaking LIES To Impress People; Says, ‘She Apologised To Me…’

Paras Kalnawat, the former actor who played Samar in ‘Anupamaa’, has been in the news for his startling discoveries about the programme for the past year. He made news a few days ago when he asserted that the tumultuous climate on Anupamaa was the reason why 80% of the actors wanted to leave the show. However, his assertions were eventually dismissed as absurd by Nidhi Shah, one of his former co-stars.

Paras Kalanwat, who joined ZeeTV show ‘Kundali Bhagya’ after quitting ‘Anupamaa’ last year for ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, feels quite blessed to have got back-to-back big shows. However, recently he courted controversy by saying everybody would leave ‘Anupamaa’ if given a chance.

Now, Paras has criticised Nidhi in a subsequent interview with BollywoodMDB. Paras had earlier stated, “I am thankful to the makers for giving such a great show. But friends, to reach somewhere, it is necessary to leave somewhere, and I believe that now I am in a calmer and better place. 80% of the cast would want to leave the show if given a chance. Not everyone has the strength to take risks and fight for what is right".

Paras's ‘Anupamaa’s co-star Nidhi Shah waded into the battle, saying, “that if someone gets a good chance, then it is obvious that he will go. ... mean that you will leave the show and then blame. It is easy to blame someone. Right now, I can only say that the atmosphere here is good. Everyone is happy in their own space. We are doing a great job, and the show is on top."

We spoke to Paras about the matter; he stood by what he said." I was not courting controversy if I wanted; I could have said a lot during the past year. Furthermore, I was not making a statement but replying to a question-and-answer session on my Instagram."

He further added, "Why did Nidhi have to wade in? Whatever she said to the press was wrong. Let me again stress what I wrote was the truth. Forget 80% of everybody would leave if given a chance. If a producer finds a better option, he will replace him." said Paras, who has also done ‘Ishq Aaj Kal’ and ‘Meri Durga’.

In conclusion, Paras said, "Nidhi lied as she wanted to please certain people. I spoke with her via text and voice notes, and she apologized, asking what else she could have said. I told her that publically attacking me and apologizing privately is not done. I, too, am responsible for making things clear to my fans."
