Renowned Casting Director Vishal Sharma has been in the showbiz industry for more than ten years. Sharma has given the industry many talented actors. After being a part of the industry for a decade, Vishal now thrives to give chances to new talents.

In a candid conversation with BollywoodMDB, Vishal who has been a part of production houses like Rose movies, Hats Off, Saregama & Optimystix among others revealed that he entered the industry without any sources or godfathers. He said, “When I entered the industry, I started from scratch as I didn’t have any back-ups, sources, or God-fathers. All I ever had was my talent, skill, perseverance, and hard work. I had many dreams and aspirations and I’m grateful to have been able to fulfill those dreams.”

He added, “However, many newbies get clueless when they enter the glamorous industry. I prefer giving a chance to new talents who have the zeal to fulfill their dreams. I want to become the wind beneath their wings so that they can fly higher and make a name for themselves. By casting new yet talented faces, the production house also benefits as they get good actors in reasonable budgets and since they’re new, they work harder and don’t give a hard time to the makers which ensures a smooth shoot process, resulting in better results. It makes the actors as well as the producers happy, so it is a win-win”

“I have recently done casting for Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’, wherein I preferred giving the opportunity and pushing some new talents. I hope they rise higher and make themselves proud. It always feels great to see the people you’ve launched growing in their lives”, he said.
