EXCLUSIVE: Anupamaa Actor Sudhanshu Pandey Reveals How Vanraj Shah Is The Most COMPLEX Character Of The Show; Shares ' Audience Hatred Proves The Job Is Well Done'

Presently, Sudhanshu Pandey can be seen in the Rajan Shahi-produced ‘Anupamaa’ on Star Plus, which is produced by Director's Kut Production. Since its inception, the programme has performed remarkably on small screens and has consistently topped the TRP ratings.

Over the years, every ‘Anupamaa’ actor has established a reputation for himself. Due to his outstanding portrayal as Vanraj Shah, Sudhanshu Pandey has developed a fervent fan base. Vanraj has been portrayed in a variety of ways, and his excellent acting skills have mesmerized everyone.

In an interview with BollywoodMDB, Sudhanshu provided a comprehensive description of his character, Vanraj Shah, and stated, “He can do what he wants as he is not an author-backed role. He can shock and surprise at any given moment. He has many different shades so that I don't get bored. He loves his family and his folk; he is not a womanizer; he fell in love with Kavya, so he had a second marriage with her. On the flip side, Vanraj is loud and likes to dominate women; he also feels insecure about his success; at other times, he is happy for them, so he is the most complex character on the show. I must thank producer Rajan Shahi for giving me this role; he could not see anyone else execute such a layered character. I am fortunate to have got to play a male lead who is greyish /negative."

He further added, "After playing Vanraj for so long, I have got into this skin and can occasionally play around with the above-varied emotions. He is also happy to be a part of a daily show which is more realistic; having come from a film and web background, I always like to underplay. I find it difficult when asked to go loud, not that I can't, but it is not me. "

In conclusion Sudhanshu shared that he is pleased with the response he is garnering on social media. "People write while they hate the character Vanraj; they love me as an actor doing his job well. Had I not gotten this hate, I would have wondered whether I was not doing my job well?"
