Erica Fernandes is one of the most loved actresses on television. She rose to fame with the role of Dr. Sonakshi Bose from the Sony TV show, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (2016). She announced her exit from the show after completing two seasons last year, and she hasn't signed a project since then. The actress admitted that she is feeling pressured by her fans to take on a project, but that the content being offered does not pique her interest.
Erica revealed that she's been getting a lot of TV and OTT offers, but they all require her to do intimate scenes, which she isn’t comfortable with.
The actress spoke candidly about her concerns in a recent interview. "Right now, all kinds of projects from the TV and OTT world are coming my way, but I am limiting my options because of what I am comfortable doing, and what I don’t want to do. I am not doing extremely bold scenes," she said.
Erica went on to say that she can perform intimate scenes to a certain extent, but that the demands she is facing are pushing her to her limitations. As a result, her options are shortened, and she is left with only a few choices.
Erica is still on the search for the ideal project. She began her career as a model and progressed through the Kannada and Tamil regional film industries before making it big in the Hindi television industry.
