CONTROVERSY: Uorfi Javed Gives A STRONG REACTION Against Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor's Comments; Says 'Ranbir Ki Kya Aukaat Hai, Jaaye Bhaad Mein'
Uorfi Javed does not apologise for her words or actions. After becoming a household name thanks to her participation in Bigg Boss OTT, the internet sensation started making waves with her outlandish style choices. Kareena Kapoor Khan's brother Ranbir criticised his sister's fashion choices after Ranveer Singh praised them on Koffee With Karan.
While some media outlets have regularly mocked and criticised the actress for her clothing choices, others have praised her for having the confidence to wear provocative pieces. Recently, in an interview, Uorfi addressed RK's allegations.
Uorfi Javed was recently interviewed and the topic of her fashion choices was brought up along with the opinions of her cousins Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The former had called it in poor taste; Bebo called her gusty and praised her bravery. Ms. Javed responded that she cares less about what RK thinks of her style than what Kareena Kapoor thinks of her.
Uorfi Javed of Humans of Bombay said,“I was blown away, I thought she was joking. After looking at the video, I realized that I have achieved something in life.” She went on to express her displeasure at reading Ranbir's remarks, saying, "Bhaad mein jaaye Ranbir, Kareena ne meri tareef kiya hain, ab toh kya hain, Ranbir ki kya aukat hain.
Kareena Kapoor Khan had previously said of Uorfi Javed at an event,“I am not as gutsy as Uorfi but I feel it’s extremely brave and extremely gutsy. Fashion is all about expression and freedom of speech. I think that the confidence with which she pulls it off, I think she looks really cool and amazing. The fact that she does exactly as she wants, that’s what fashion is all about – when you are comfortable in your own skin and do exactly as you, please. I just love the confidence. I am a confident girl so I am all for confidence. I just love her confidence and the way she walks. Hats off.”
