Recently, 'OMG 2' has been in the news due to problems with CBFC certification. The release date of the Akshay Kumar-starring film is getting closer by the day. Additionally, according to reports, the committee asked the filmmakers to edit the movie and make at least 20 cuts.
But the good news is that the film passed the CBFC test without any cuts, which is great news for all Akkians! It's true what you read. There is, however, more of the same. The CBFC board has recommended that 'OMG 2's creators change a few things.
'OMG 2,' starring Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Akshay Kumar, has received a clean bill of health from the Central Board of Film Certification. After being widely discussed in the media and on social media, it has now officially gotten the certification. The movie is said to be roughly 2 hours and 36 minutes long and has an A certificate.
According to a person involved in the movie's production, 'OMG 2' was approved without changes after much debate, according to popular media reports. Following a conversation with the board members, the creators changed a few scenes, dialogue lines, and characters. In the past, there have been rumours that Akshay Kumar's character has changed. His persona would allegedly transform from Lord Shiva to a Doot (a messenger).
According to the rumour in the entertainment news portal, the release of the Akshay Kumar movie won't be delayed. Fans have been eagerly expecting the movie's debut for a very long time, but there has already been a significant delay. In the middle of all of these rumours, the insider has stated that the trailer will be released in two to three days and that the team will start promoting it immediately before the release.
According to sources, the ‘OMG 2’ producers initially wanted to release the film with a U/A certification but knew it would need cutbacks. According to reports, the movie takes a brave and considerate approach to its central theme of sex education. Cuts would have made the story of ‘OMG 2’ more difficult to follow. They therefore want to proceed with the A certification.
