However, ahead of the finale, there's unfortunate news for Abhishek's devoted fans. Renowned as one of the strongest competitors, Abhishek has been admitted to the hospital due to a decline in his health within the confines of the house.

A day before the scheduled ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ finale, Abhishek Malhan, a frontrunner within the house, was hospitalized, dampening his chances of participating in the final episode on Monday night. Concerns about Abhishek's well-being had been surfacing among his fellow housemates lately. Prerna Malhan, Abhishek's sister, confirmed the news through a tweet on August 13, requesting fans to pray for her brother's ‘speedy recovery’.

Reports indicate that Abhishek had been grappling with health issues for about a week, which unfortunately worsened. At present, the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ team has yet to provide updates on his health status.

The announcement of the top 5 contestants was made by Salman Khan's ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ last week. Abhishek Malhan is in competition with Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, Pooja Bhatt, and Bebika Dhurve for the prestigious ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ trophy.
