BARC Ratings: 'Anupamaa' Leads the Way, Top GEC Shows See Viewer Surge Post IPL 2023
We're back with a brand-new, thrilling TRP Report. TV fans anxiously anticipated the ratings as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 came to a close. The cricket league significantly reduced the viewership of the top GECs. ‘Anupamaa’, ‘Naagin 6’, and ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ have all seen an increase in viewers this week.
Since many years ago, Star Plus has dominated the TRP rankings, taking the most positions on the list of the top-rated shows. ‘Anupamaa’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, and ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ are some of its best-performing properties. ‘Imlie’, ‘Pandya Store’, and ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ all again had strong performances.
The shows on Zee TV also got better this week, while ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony SAB rose to the eighth position. In the most recent BARC TRP ratings, Colors channel programmes ‘Naagin 6’, ‘Udaariyaan’, and ‘Parineetii’ also made a splash.
The show ‘Anupamaa’, starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, ended up being the most watched of the week. With a TRP of, the daily soap once again attracted the most viewers. In week 22, ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ also succeeded in growing the audience.
Despite an increase in viewers, ‘Naagin 6’ was unable to crack the top ten shows. Numbers for ‘Bhagyalakshmi’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ increased this week as well. Many programmes have been able to regain the devoted followers that were lost as a result of IPL 2023.
