The list of top-rated shows was once again dominated by Star Plus, just like the week before. Zee TV and Sony SAB each had one show, however the channel had eight shows that made the list. Despite extensive advertising and social media hype, Sony Entertainment Television and the Colors were unable to produce any shows.
On the small screens, ‘Anupamaa’, ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ made waves and attracted the most viewers. The show had a strong performance in week 19 of 2023 despite competition from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
‘Anupamaa’ has consistently delivered strong ratings for Star Plus' prime time programming. The daily soap starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna has not been much impacted by other GECs launching shows at 10 o'clock. The ranking and quantity of your preferred TV series didn't vary significantly throughout the course of the week. With a rating of 2.8, ‘Anupamaa’, which is currently centred on Anupama-Anuj's separation and Malti Devi's track, rose to the top spot.
Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt starred in ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, ranked on the second and the third most watched show of the week, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ by Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda. The top ten shows also included ‘Imlie’, ‘Pandya Store’, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’, ‘Faltu’, and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
