Audience Verdict: Netizens DISAPPOINTED With The Post-Leap Promo Of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin; Say 'Story Seems STALE, Narrative Looks Like An Old Wine In A New Bottle' (View Comments)

‘Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ has been television’s number-one show for a very long time. It has topped the TRP charts time and again. The show starred Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma in the lead roles. With its intriguing storyline and plot twists and turns, the show enjoyed a massive fan following.

Later, Aishwarya Sharma quit the show and Harshad Arora marked his entry by bringing in more masala. But recently, the show went off-air and all the stars have called it quits. But that’s not the end, the makers have decided to continue the show with a major leap and bringing in new characters.

This news came as a surprise to the fans of the show. It will be interesting to see fresh faces and a fresh plot and here’s how audiences have been reacting to it.

Charmi Sharma says, “I am the biggest fan of the show. I have watched all the episodes from day one and followed the track closely. It was heartbreaking to know that the show has come to an end and that the show is going to take a leap. I don’t think so, the leap and new characters will make the show interesting to watch because the chemistry that Neil and Aishwarya had is unmatchable. The plot was perfect and bringing in a leap makes no sense and the story looks stale.”

Kiara Pandey expresses, “I am really excited to watch the show after the leap and with all the new characters. The previous storyline had gotten quite boring and a leap was needed. To watch new faces and new chemistry is very exciting.”

“The leap wasn’t necessary, the show was running well and the characters were so good. I could still binge-watch the episodes. But I guess, it will still be interesting to watch what they have brought in with the new development and leap in the show," says Manasvi Parulkar.

Geeta Singh says, “I just loved Ayesha Singh too much and her chemistry and nok-jhok with Neil Bhatt was so good. I am going to miss watching them together on the show. The leap was not necessary and the new promo looks like the makers are bringing the same love triangle again.”

Amrita Parab says, “After Aishwarya Sharma’s exit, the plot got quite boring. Even though they brought in a new angle by bringing Harshad Arora, the plot was still pale. I do not think I am interested in the show anymore. The new promo does not excite me. Sai and Virat's love story was beautiful and this new post-leap plot looks like a repetition of what happened earlier.”
