‘Anupamaa’ fame Nakul aka Aman Maheshwari remembered in a recent interview how he had completely lost faith in finding good work after going unemployed for six months and receiving no offers of roles after completing ‘Bade Achche Lagte Hai’. Aman talks about how he was fortunate to secure a job at Anupamaa in his interview.
As soon as 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2' ended, I lost my job. I was unemployed for six months. I have no faith at all in the idea that if you land a fantastic show, getting future opportunities will be simpler. I was honestly considering returning back home since I couldn't find anything worthwhile. I had prepared my luggage for travel, and I got a call from Anupamaa. I would consider Anupamaa to be a blessing."
Aman said, "I was prepared to return as I wasn't becoming financially or professionally stable. I would have stayed if I was receiving a nice show, but because there is no certainty in my line of work, I chose to go into business. If I told someone I have ten years of acting experience, they wouldn't hire me because this isn't taken into account in any other field. I therefore had the habit of keeping an Excel sheet for the record even while I was trying out for 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2'. It was my 247th audition, as I recall."
In the most recent episode many people praised Aman's portrayal of Nakul in the film Anupamaa. Anupamaa's admirers adored his performance, particularly the scene in which he apologised to Anu and the two became friends. Nakul portrays Malti Dei, also known as Guru Maa's most trusted carer, who has severe insecurities after Gurumaa transfers all of her Gurukul responsibilities to Anu and requests that he visit the United States.
He turns wicked and attempts to attack Anupamaa out of severe jealousy, but after she protects him from Gurumaa when she goes looking for the person who injured Anupamaa, he changes his heart. According to rumours, Nakul's character is deepening and that he could develop a romantic interest in Kinjal
