Anupama star Anagha Bhosale reveals her reason behind quitting showbiz
Anagha Bhosale, who played the role of Nandini on Star Plus’ successful show Anupamaa, has decided to quit acting. The actress has taken the decision of leaving showbiz in order to follow the path of spirituality.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Bhosale penned a note elaborating why she chose to bid adieu to acting. She hoped that everyone would respect her decision.
“I know you all have been kind and have shown concern after the shot and thank you for that; I am really grateful. If some of you don't know yet that I am officially quitting the film and television industry, this is it. And I really hope you all will definitely respect and support my decision. I did take this decision due to my religious beliefs and spiritual path. I know you should keep doing your karmas but not where your Krishna consciousness or spiritual growth is getting tampered or weakened. I do believe you should get away from situations or people who increase your distance with God/Krishna,” she wrote.
The actress continued, “The field where I was in is way different and tampers with my consciousness levels, makes you something which you are not and takes you away from what you believe in. Therefore, this was my decision. Thank you for all the concerns, messages and calls you shared with me and my family. Thank you for your love and respect.”
