Angad Hasija makes a return to daily soap after 4 years with Ziddi Dil Maane Na

Popular television actor Angad Hasija, who shot to fame playing the lead character in Star Plus’ much-loved show Bidaai, is set to make his return to daily soaps after a long gap of four years. The actor, who is quite choosy about his projects, has signed up to play a pivotal role in SAB TV’s ongoing show Ziddi Dil Maane Na.

The last daily soap Hasija was part of was Waaris on &TV. After Waaris, the actor made brief appearances in such shows Dhhai Kilo Prem and Laal Ishq. He is psyched up about playing a strong character in Ziddi Dil Maane Na.

Sharing more details on his new character, Hasija told a publication, “I play a village boy in Ziddi Dil Maane Na and will be seen in a rugged and rough look. I played a similar character in terms of looks years ago in Phulwa and wanted to attempt it again for quite some time. I will be paired opposite Sanjana Dubey (Diljot Chhabra) in the show. My character Kundan will be rigid and strong.”

The actor is also known for his love for fitness. Talking about the same, he said, “I have been a fitness enthusiast for many years now. It is a way of life for me. Hitting the gym and working out gives me great joy. It is a source of meditation. During the lockdown, when I was not able to go to the gym, I set up a temporary gym on the terrace of my apartment in my hometown, Chandigarh.”
