Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the iconic shows that Indian television has ever produced. The show, which began its journey 10 years ago, has witnessed many changes since then. But the one thing that has always remained constant is audiences’ unconditional love and patronage for the show.

This Diwali, there will be a double celebration for producer Rajan Shahi as his show will be completing 2500 on 19th October. “It's been 10 years that I have been shooting Yeh Rishta... This Diwali is even more special for us as we complete 2500 on the Diwali day itself. The entire team of Yeh Rishta is ecstatic,” says Shahi.

A hawan was done followed by trophy distribution which is Rajan Shahi's signature ritual every year which was followed by cake cutting and scrumptious dinner. Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Rishi Dev, Mohena Singh, Parul Chauhan, Sachin Tyagi and Lata Sabarwal were present besides other actors. Rajan Shahi as always played perfect host. His real sister also graced the occasion along with mom Deepa Shahi.
