Actor Vineet Raina , who is playing the role of Lakshya in Beyond Dreams' Ishq Mein Marjawan, says that he loves his character because of the variations that it has. "The character has both the shades actually. It has different variations. He is a very intelligent police officer. He has his own unique way of handling the case. He has his own style of investigation. The reason I took this role was that it is challenging. This is an actor's character. It has a very thin line between being comic and being serious. He can be humorous and serious at the same time. He is very good at his job. Basically, I also made it very innovative and the creatives are also very happy with it," he says.

Ask him if he takes time getting to his look, and he says, “It does not take much time. We don't have to put a lot of makeup. But I work on my script more than anything. I spend all that time reading it before getting on the set."

The actor is also enjoying working with Beyond Dreams. “It is fabulous. I know Yash (Patnaik) for a very long time now and I have always appreciated and respected him for his creative mind and his experimental mind. Mamta is another gem of a person. She is as creative and intelligent. They both have got very different genres and content to this industry. I have always wanted to work with them. They have a brilliant vision and they are one of the best that our television industry has got," he says.

While many actors may complain about the long working hours of television, Vineet disagrees. “It is not very demanding I feel because it is what is keeping me alive. Whenever I am busy working, it keeps me satisfied and fresh. I feel active. I love this demanding profession. It is very lively," he says.

Being in the limelight is also something that Vineet doesn't mind. "I feel that in the end, it is your job, the judgments, the criticisms will come. You have to take them positively. Criticisms are important, so by the end of the day, you work harder," he says.

Well! Fans are a welcome treat for the actor as well, who has a lot of female fan following. "I really appreciate that. I am fortunate that I have such a fan following. I will really work hard in the future," he says.

Another thing that Vineet feels is important for an actor is to be presentable. "It is very important for an actor to look clean, tidy and fit. People admire that more than anything, they get impressed. Plus you look fresh on screen. So it is important," he says, adding, "People look up to us, they idealize us, they consider us as role models. They get inspired by us. So, I think an actor has to be very conscious about what kind of image they are portraying in public so people do not get negatively influenced," he says.

Ask him the most interesting part of being an actor. "Being an actor is itself a blessing, as he or she can influence the crowd. They can make a positive change and make the world a better place. The best quality of being an actor is that they are made for the people, they are the entertainers."
