Sony TV’s gobsmackingly epic historical show Peshwa Bajirao is getting bigger and better with each passing day. The makers of the show keep introducing one character or the other to keep the audience hooked and entertainment quotient high. And now since the show is all set to witness a nine-year leap, it will make the way for several new actors to join the ensemble star cast. The makers have already roped in Karan Suchak to play the grown-up Bajirao. And if latest reports are to be believed, the immensely talented television actor, Dinesh K Mehta, has been brought on board to essay an important character post leap.

Tall and handsome Dinesh K Mehta, who has previously shown his acting prowess in a number of successful shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Suryaputra Karn, Buddha and Gangaa, will play Prince Jagat Raj, the son of Maharaja Chhatrasal and Mastani’s brother. His character will have a very rancorous temperament and would consider Mastani as his sister.

The actor has confirmed to be a part of the show.

Produced by Sphereorigins, the TV series Peshwa Bajirao is based on the life of first Peshwa of Chhatrapati Shahu. The show airs on Sony Entertainment channel from Monday-Friday at 7:30 PM.
