TV queen Ekta Kapoor ’s historical show ‘Chandra Nandni’, which airs on Star Plus, has successfully completed 200 episodes. Though the show has not been as successful as Kapoor’s previous historical drama Jodha Akbar, it has managed to hold the audience since its beginning with the help of its engaging plot.

Actors Rajat Tokas and Shweta Basu Prasad , who began their careers as child artists, play the lead roles of Emperor Chandragupta and Nandni in the show respectively. The audience quite likes their onscreen chemistry in the show, and that is the reason it has been getting good eyeballs despite a huge competition from other shows which run the same time slot.

On the occasion of completing 200 episodes, the entire team of Chandra Nandni is extremely excited. They all have planned a team dinner to celebrate the super success of the show.

Not able to contain her excitement, Shweta Basu Prasad , who plays Nandni in the show, says, “It always a pleasure to know that your hard work is being paid off. Rajat and I, both, have been receiving letters, messages, and emails about how the show has been accepted by the audience. It’s not only the actors but it’s the entire team, right from the spot boys to the director who have put in their heart and soul into this show to make it what it is today.
