The newly launched Star Plus show Aarambh has become the talk of the town within days of going on air. Grand sets, elaborate costumes and impeccable performances by all the actors arrested the attention of the audience from the day one. The show, which premiered on 24th June, will soon witness a leap of 200 years. Post leap, the makers will introduce the reincarnation track and several new characters will be introduced to take the proceedings forwards. According to reliable sources, seasoned actors Shahbaz Khan & Dolly Sohi have been roped in to play the main protagonist Rajniesh Duggall ’s parents in the show.

Shahbaz, who is better remembered as Kunwar Virendra Vikram Singh from Nirja Guleri’s Chandrakanta, will play a warrior and senator having grey shades to his character in the show, while actress Dolly Sohi will be seen as a caring and supportive mother.

Toplined by Rajniesh Duggall and Karthika Nair in lead roles, the fantasy drama show has been written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, who has previously written blockbusters like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Filmmaker Goldie Behl is helming the mega show.
