Shabbir Ahluwalia to be in spin-off series of Kumkum Bhagya, titled Kundali Bhagya!

It is very rare that Indian television industry takes a character from a popular series and decided to make a spinoff of that character. But here, if a character is played by Shabbir Ahluwalia, it bound to get popular in time. Shabbir received a lot of appraising for his role in popular TV series, Kumkum Bhagya, as his nudging chemistry with on-screen wife Pragya which was played by Sriti Jha. And considering the popularity of the character, makers have decided to produce a spin-off series titled, Kundali Bhagya.

As per the sources have revealed, Kundali Bhagya will be about Preeta and Shrishti, Pragya’s sister, and their relations with a Punjabi family, whose elder son Rishabh Luthra, played Manit Joura, is celebrity management firm manages Abhi's music career. Speaking about this revelation, Shabbir said, “Soon viewers will meet the new family in Kundali Bhagya and get to know Karan and Rishabh more closely just as they have got to know Abhi. I am sure audiences will shower them with as much or more love and affection than they have showered on me and Pragya.”

The show will still be produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Productions and aired on 12th of July on Zee TV and it is expected to start with a fresh start and keep the trademark tussle, teasing and the nagging chemistry between lead characters, which would keep the audience entertained and fan base going on!
