About a month ago or so, rumours were floating around that well-known writer-producer Raakesh Paswan was coming up with a new show for &TV. After some time, we heard that the project got delayed for some reasons. But now we have learned that the show is back on track, but with a change. When the untitled show was locked by the channel some time ago, popular TV actor Param Singh was the top choice to play the male lead in it. However, according to some sources, Singh has bowed out of the series. “Due to certain reasons, the deal didn’t work out and Param is no more a part of the project,” a source claims. Now, another popular actor Abhishek Bajaj has been roped in to play the lead character.

According to some sources, the soap is set in the rural parts of Uttar Pradesh and, after a lot of contemplation, the makers have locked Bajaj for the male lead. Abhishek Bajaj was last seen in SAB TV’s popular comedy show Dil Deke Dekho.
