Ace comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover worked together in the popular shows The Kapil Sharma Show and Comedy Nights With Kapil for several years. But, a few months back due to a major fall out, Sunil Grover who used to play several characters in the show left it citing problems with Kapil. Their major fight in the famous airlines is known to one and all. After which the show went off air, Kapil’s health slipped and the controversy went bigger and bigger.

Kapil, however, apologized and tried to sort out things on several occasions. But, Grover was in no mood to patch up. Now, according to the latest update both the comedy kings are coming back together with the possibility of a new show.

In a media interaction, Kapil said, “Sunil and I haven’t met in a long time, but we chat over messages. As soon as he returns, we will meet up and discuss the possibility of a new show. Hopefully, we should be back together. The rest of the cast members are also ready to come on board.” Kapil also explained how things started going wrong. He said, “When he had left the show earlier [ to pursue his own show, Mad In India], I had dissuaded him from leaving us. This time too, I was sad that our issue had become so big that it had started affecting our friendship. I tried explaining to him that everyone makes mistakes and I too had committed one. But he wouldn’t have any of it.”

Kapil informs that the challenge did not take his show off air but it was a mutual decision. He said, “The channel [ officials] didn’t ask me to go off air. It was a mutual decision between us as I thought we needed to take a break. Also, I felt a lot was written on the controversy that happened.”

Currently, Kapil is busy with his second film Firangi which has an impressive first look and trailer. Firangi releases on November 24, 2017.
