Dil Dhoondta Hai, which was launched recently on ZEE TV, is all set to witness a new entry in the show. According to reports, well-known TV actress Ashita Dhawan has been roped in to play an important character in the daily. Ashita came to limelight after playing the character of Malti Sharma in Rajan Shahi's popular daily soap, Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai.

Dil Dhoondta Hai stars Shivya Pathania and Marathi actor Stavan Shinde who marks his debut in the Hindi television space. Stavan plays the lead protagonist Vishy and Ashita has been cast to play her aunt. The actress was finalized for the role on the auspicious day of Dhanteras. "I got finalised on the day of Dhanteras, so I didn't really have to buy gold. My character is going to create new dimensions in the show. Negative characters always add fun to a show. I'm glad that people believe in me that I can do something different like this," shared the actress.

Talking about her character in the show, Ashita will play a completely negative character who will create a lot of problems in the married couples' life.
