After entertaining the audience for almost two years, the popular &TV show Waaris has come to an end. The team has shot for the final episode which will go on air next month. Considering the fact that almost all the shows on &TV fail to thug the right chord of the audience, Waaris' run could be termed as a successful one as the show continued its journey for close to two years. The success of the show benefitted everyone with its leading cast becoming a household name.

The show, which revolved around a mother who passes her daughter off as a boy in a patriarchal society, found many takers initially. But in the last few months, its TRP dwindled badly and hence the makers have decided to pull the plug on the show.

On the last day of shooting, the whole cast shot was emotional about the same. From Neel Motwani to Aarti Singh, the actors posted emotional parting messages.
