Well-known actor & filmmaker Ananth Mahadevan is all set to make a comeback to the world of television after a gap of two decades. He was last seen in the cult comedy show, Zubaan Sambhal Ke. 20 years have passed since the serial aired on Doordarshan, but Mahadevan is still remembered for his character of Mr Mukherjee in the popular show.

According to latest media reports, Mahadevan has been roped in to play an important character in an upcoming SAB TV show, Aadat Se Majboor. He will play the owner of a publishing house in the serial. Ananth recently mentioned that he loved the idea of comedy in this show and hence gave his nod to it. Another thing which attracted him was flexibility in the shooting hours. He needs to just shoot for 15 days a month, something which made him choose this show as his comeback.

Ananth Mahadevan is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming directorial venture, Aksar 2 , which is a sequel to his 2006 film Aksar . Starring Zareen Khan , Gautam Rode and Abhinav Shukla , the film releases on 6th October.
