    Akshay Dogra roped in for a negative role in Ekta Kapoor’s Dil Hi Toh Hai

    Reportedly, the show is the TV adaptation of Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

    Well-known television actor Akshay Dogra, who impressed everyone with his grey character in the popular &TV show Waaris, has bagged a new series. According to sources, Dogra has been roped in to play a negative character in Ekta Kapoor 's upcoming biggie Dil Hi Toh Hai, which is being made on the lines of Karan Johar 's blockbuster movie, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham .

    Talking about his character in the Balaji Telefilms' series, a source reveals to an entertainment portal, “He will essay the character of Rishabh, the elder brother of the male lead.”

    We also hear that popular television actress Erica Fernandes has been signed to play one of the female leads. Besides Erica, the names of actors such as Bijay Anand, Ritu Vij and Farida Dadi are also doing the rounds.
