After playing the titular role of Peshwa Bajirao in Sony Entertainment Television’s recently concluded show Peshwa Bajirao, TV star Karan Suchak has bagged a new soap as the male lead. Yes, the immensely talented actor will next be seen in &TV’s upcoming show, Hanikarak Biwi. To be produced by Full House Media, Hanikarak Biwi is expected to offer ample doses of non-stop humour and entertainment.

According to a source, the makers roped in Karan to play the male lead because the actor suits the role perfectly. “Karan Suchak has been finalized to play the lead. He fits into the character aptly.”

Actress Jia Shankar, who was last seen in Queens Hai Hum, will play the female lead in the show. Besides Jia Shankar and Karan Suchak, actors Raju Shreshtha, Nasirr Khan, Sucheta Khanna and Anjali Mukhi will also be seen in important roles.

Karan has attempted a diverse range of characters in his career so far. However, it will be the first time for the actor when he will try his hands at comedy. But we are sure that the talented actor will pull off his character brilliantly. What do you say?
