Actor Nikhil Dwivedi to turn producer with a TV show for Star Plus!

Seen in films like Shor In The City, Hate Story and Tamanchey, Bollywood actor Nikhil Dwivedi is all set to add a new feather to his cap. He will soon make his television debut as a producer with a mega-budgeted show based on Bhagavad Gita. To be aired on Star Plus, the untitled TV series is expected to be given a one-hour long slot on Sunday.

According to sources, Nikhil and his team are working tirelessly on the show. They don’t want to leave any stone unturned in making a show which captures as many eyeballs as possible. The mythological show will boast of never-seen-before visuals created by using several technological advances. It is yet not clear who will play important characters in the show.

It is really a great phase for Indian television as many well-known film personalities are foraying into TV space. The audience has already liked Anil Kapoor’s 24 on Colors. Ashutosh Gowarikar’s TV series Everest on Star Plus also attracted huge eyeballs. Nikhil Advani’s POW, Mahesh Bhatt’s Naamkarann for Star Plus won million hearts, too. Now, it’s Nikhil’s turn to begin his journey on television.
