Trisha Krishnan is without a doubt one of the most well-known actresses in South Indian cinema. She was most recently seen as Kundavai in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan II,’ a part that received favourable acclaim from both reviewers and fans.

According to a news site, Trisha was accused of demanding a high price for a film but failing to promote it in 2021. The ‘Ghilli’ actress appeared in K. Thirugnanam's political thriller film ‘Paramapadham Vilayattu’. According to reports, the actress requested a staggering 15 lakhs for film marketing and did not even attend the promotional event. However, no formal confirmation of this information has been provided.

According to reports, the producers discussed the incident, saying that it was important for someone of Trisha's stature and reputation to be a part of the film's promotions because the majority of the other cast members were in the early stages of their careers and would help them get noticed as well. It was also stated that if Trisha consistently failed to appear, she would be required to reimburse a percentage of the costs she had charged for the promotions.

K. Thirugnanam directs ‘Paramapadham Vilayattu’, a political thriller film. Vijay Varmaa, a newbie, co-starred with Trisha in the major role. It also included Nandha Durairaj, AL Azhagappan, Richard Rishi, Sona Hayden, and many more. The crowd gave the film mixed reviews.

In addition, the actress will appear in Mohanlal's forthcoming film opposite Jeethu Joseph, titled ‘Ram: Part 1’, as well as Ajith Kumar's upcoming film, ‘Vidaa Muyarchi,’ directed by Magizh Thirumeni.
