Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited movie Liger. The Telugu superstar who is set to make his debut in Bollywood is actively promoting his films in different cities with his co-star Ananya Panday. The actor, who is renowned for his relaxed temperament, recently got involved in a controversy. Vijay received a lot of flak for putting his feet up while speaking to a journalist at a press conference in Hyderabad.

A reporter told Vijay at the conference that he was able to talk with him without restriction when Taxiwala was released. He said, "I'm not able to do it right now." In an effort to console him, Vijay encouraged him to put his feet up so they could have a more casual and free conversation. Let's converse freely, Vijay said after putting his feet up. Everyone started giggling at this.

Nevertheless, this incident has given rise to rumors that Vijay Deverakonda has an attitude problem. The actor responded to the issue on Twitter as a result. He penned, "Anybody trying to grow in their field. Will Always have a Target on their back - But we fight back. And when you are honest, yourself and want the best for everyone - The love of people and God will protect you."

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that in spite of being unwell Vijay went to Kochi to promote his film. In Liger, Vijay will portray an MMA fighter who struggles with stammering. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger is slated to release in theatres on August 25.
