Filming for Soori and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Viduthalai is being carried out at a fast pace. The first schedule of the film was shot in the deep forests of Kadambur. According to sources, the final schedule of the film is currently taking place in Sirumalai, near Dindigul in Tamil Nadu for the last couple of months.

Apparently, the makers had created huge village sets for the filming of Viduthalai. Jacki, who is the art director of the film, designed a village set on a private estate in Sirumalai. The village had small houses, a playground, and a temple.

It was reported that the large crew of 450 members was staying in Sirumalai and had to face many venomous snakes, bison, wild dogs, and leeches during the time. Luckily, an ambulance with a doctor was available 24x7 in case of any emergency throughout the shoot.

For the unversed, Viduthalai is adapted from the short story ‘Thunaivan’ penned by Jeyamohan. Hit filmmaker Vetri Maaran is calling the shots for the film. Stay tuned for more updates!
