The latest scandal has heightened public pressure on forest officials to take fast action against any Kannada actors who have reportedly been photographed wearing tiger claw pendants. Their images had been floating on social media for some time, and they drew notice with their latest arrest.
The arrest of Kannada Bigg Boss Season 10 contestant Varthur Santosh was the catalyst for the state's extensive deployment of tiger claws. Forest officials are also looking into Rajya Sabha member Jaggesh, Rock Line Venkatesh, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, and Vinay Guruji, in addition to Darshan Thoogudeepa. Formal complaints have also been lodged against these individuals.
Furthermore, Nikhil Kumaraswamy has addressed the situation by opening up and explaining the claims levelled against him. The actor stated that he was not wearing a genuine Tiger claw pendant, but rather a present from someone, and that it was a phony one. The actor-politician also stated that he still had the false jewellery and advised the public not to fall victim to rumours about him.
