Venkat Prabhu, Archana Kalpathi, and Jagadish Palanisamy from the production crew have made the journey to the US.

The latest update brings news of Thalapathy Vijay joining them, as he was spotted at the Los Angeles airport in the United States. Vijay appeared in formal attire, showcasing a salt-and-pepper look, complete with his eyeglasses.

Reports suggest that the team is planning to visit a specialized studio in the US to perform a 3D VFX scan of Vijay. This scan is intended for one of his characters in the movie, considering that he will be playing dual roles. In the realm of Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Fan’ and Kamal Haasan's ‘Indian 2’ are notable examples of films that have utilized advanced technology to de-age actors.

The technology was previously employed to depict a youthful Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Fan’ and a teenage Kamal Haasan in ‘Indian 2’. Speculation surrounds Kamal Haasan's portrayal of a younger character using similar technology. As for Vijay's film, details remain unclear about whether the 3D VFX scan will depict him as younger or older.

Anticipation for Vijay's upcoming film, ‘Leo’, is building among distributors. The team at Ahimsa Entertainer is gearing up to launch advance bookings for the movie in the United Kingdom. The booking window is set to open 42 days before the film's scheduled release date on October 19.
