Telugu actor Vishwak Sen, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam (2022) through various pranks that have turned controversial, was recently invited for a TV debate over the same on a popular Telugu news channel.

However, things went awry when Vishwak lost his cool during the debate. Following a heated argument, he used the 'F-word' for the anchor who unceremoniously dropped him from the show.

Later, not wanting this fiasco to escalate into another controversy, the actor called a press meet and apologised to the anchor for his 'F-word' usage during the debate. However, he supported his pranks for the promotion of his film.

The 27-year-old actor said that he really feels he shouldn't have used the derogatory word but also maintained that his prank videos are neither offensive nor controversial.

On the work front, Vishwak Sen was last seen in the 2021 Telugu-language romantic comedy film Paagal. Written and directed by debutante Naresh Kuppili and produced by Bekkem Venugopal under the banner of Lucky Media, the film featured Sen, Nivetha Pethuraj, Bhumika Chawla and Murali Sharma.

After multiple delays due to the covid-19 pandemic, the film was released on 14 August 2021. It generally received negative reviews with critics slamming the film's storyline, screenplay and dragged narration. However, they praised Vishwak Sen's performance and soundtrack of the film.
