South star Akhil Akkineni's film AGENT PROMO promises drop-dead action sequels; Check out the RELEASE DATE!

South actor Akhil Akkineni will be seen in a never seen before avatar in his upcoming film, Agent, which has raised expectations to sky-high. The release date of the film Agent has been postponed many times, and a new release date has been announced along with a promo video. According to the announcement, the film will be released in the theatres on 28 April 2023. The filmmaker has shared the film's release date on the Twitter handle while sharing the promo video

The filmmakers took to Twitter and shared a promo video announcing an official release date. The promo is off for 52 seconds showing Akhil releasing his beast mode and auspicious blood-shedding action scenes. His action scenes are never seen before, giving goosebumps. The film's promo says that the actor has gone through a tremendous transformation to justify his character as a spy in Agent. He shredded a weight and followed a rigorous fitness regime to uphold a chiselled body.

The film was originally scheduled to release on 24 December 2021 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later, It was announced to release on 12 August 2022. Still, The makers decided to release it on Sankranthi 2023. On Sankranthi, there were two big releases, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy; therefore, Agent got postponed again. Now, finally, It will be a theatrical release in April 2023.

The film is helmed by Surender Reddy. Malayalam superstar Mammootty plays a powerful character in the movie along with debutante Sakshi Vaidya, played by Akhil Akkineni's love interest in Agent. The film is to be produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainment and Surender 2 Cinema. Hip Hop Thamizha is the music director of the flick, and Rasool Ellore is the cinematographer.
