Shruti Haasan has been working on a tonne of different projects, and most recently, her movies Veer Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya were successful at the box office. The actress appears to have had a successful beginning to the year. The actress turns a year older today. With her boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika, sister Akshara Haasan, and other pals, the actress celebrated her birthday. Shruti's birthday party was also attended by Bollywood superstar Kajol.

Shruti Haasan’s black-themed birthday party

The birthday celebration was hosted at Shruti Haasan's Mumbai home, and she shared a few peeks of it on her Instagram account. The actress chose a party with a black theme to maintain her love of the colour black. She chose an airy black maxi dress and looked stunning as usual. She posed for photographs while wearing a straightforward crown and with a foil cutout saying "Happy B-Day" in the background.

On the professional front, Shruti Haasan is currently enjoying the success of her most recent films, Waitair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. She will next be seen with Prabhas in Salaar, an upcoming action movie directed by Prashanth Neel. Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao will all play significant roles in the drama, which is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the auspices of Hombale Films. We'll also get to see her in the international film "The Eye," which Daphne Schmon will be directing.
