The popular Malayalam actor Mohan Lal is now prepared to change the course of his career because he has some very intriguing projects in development. Due to consecutive box office failures, the seasoned actor is currently experiencing difficulties in his acting career. But the finished actor is now prepared to start a new stage of his career. At a lavish occasion held in Kochi in 2020, Mohanlal officially debuted as a director with Barroz in the presence of the top stars in Malayalam film. The star soon began filming his dream movie, which had some of the most in-demand actors and actresses in its cast and crew. Nevertheless, the epidemic and lockdown caused numerous delays in the project, which was initially planned to release in December 2020. The Barroz screenplay's author, Jijo Punnoose, has recently made a few major revelations about the film's rewritten plot and actors.

Writer Jiji Punnoose backs out of the film.

Jijo Punnoose, the author of the new blog post, disclosed that Mohanlal's Barroz has undergone significant modifications to both its storyline and cast. The senior scenarist also said that he is no longer working on the eagerly anticipated fantasy movie. Jijo claims that when he made the decision to create a fantasy movie about a teenage girl and a ghost who protects a treasure, Mohanlal was not in the picture. The superstar's casting as the ghost in the movie was recommended by director TK Rajeev Kumar. Jijo was given the responsibility of helping Mohanlal when he later opted to take on the director's duty.

The girl, not the ghost, is the movie's main character, according to Jijo. In agreement with this viewpoint, Mohanlal made the decision to underplay in his acting. Following Barroz's pandemic-related delay, the original plot and star cast were revised, and the ghost became the story's main character.

Disagreement between Jio and Mohanlal?

Jijo blog post read, “To appease his fan base, Mohanlal rewrote the storyline and created the character of Barroz in a manner reminiscent of his most recent hits, Odiyan, Pulimurugan, Lucifer, and Marakkar. I could see how, with the revised storyline, the movie's primary goal was to amuse the Malayalee family movie audience. With his knowledge of 350 movies compared to my paltry 7, Mohanlal could achieve it. In this restructure, Rajeev assumed my responsibility for assisting him”
