On June 15, 2022, the day before her movie 'Yashoda' came out, the diva announced her illness on Instagram. The 'Shaakuntalam' actor said the past year was all about accepting a "forced new normal" in an emotional and contemplative Instagram post.
According to the actress, 2017 was also marked by "seeking meaning, reflection, and introspection" as well as several prayers and poojas.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently appeared in 'Shaakuntalam' as an actress. The actress was previously seen in the 2022 thriller 'Yashoda.' She co-starred with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' last year.
