The trailer for ‘Sesham Mikeil Fathima’ tells the narrative of Fathima Noorjahan, who gets lured into the world of sports commentary during a local football match owing to her capacity to speak incessantly.
Her initial aversion to participating in this sport quickly turns into a pleasure for her, something she didn't realise until she attempted it. Her desire to pursue football commentary causes her to transcend the societal structures and family constraints that someone from rural Malabar may confront.
The film follows her path of being able to achieve her ambitions and how she does so despite all difficulties. The film, written and directed by newcomer Manu C Kumar, is produced by Thalapathy Vijay's manager Jagadish Palanisamy and Sudhan Sundaram in his first Malayalam movie.
The film stars Minnal Murali's Femina George, Shaheen Siddique, Parvathi T, Aneesh G. Menon, and many more, including Kalyani Priyadarshan as the protagonist role.
The soundtrack for the film is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, while the cinematography is handled by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran, who has previously worked on films such as ‘Baaghi 2’, ‘Baaghi 3’, ‘Kabir Singh’, and ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.’ Kiran Das, the editor for ‘Romancham’, edits the film.
Kalyani Priyadarshan was most recently seen in the Malayalam film ‘Hridayam’, which she co-starred in with Pranav Mohanlal and was directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, as well as the Tovino Thomas hit ‘Thallumaala’.
