Shaakuntalam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's next Telugu mythological drama, saw the release of its trailer today (Monday) in Hyderabad. If the trailer's aesthetics are any indication, the movie will feature Samantha in her most angelic avatar in what appears to be an epic re-enactment of a Mahabharata tale. Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, as well as all other South Indian languages, have all seen the release of the trailer.
The three-minute trailer opens with Samantha being described as the first abandoned kid in human history and princess Shakuntala, the daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra. The actor portraying the princess appears heavenly and attracts attention with her grace and refinement. It's captivating to watch Samantha's chemistry and romance with Dev Mohan, who plays Dushyanta. However, it seems as though the love story will end tragically. Shakuntala is seen fighting for both love and battle in the trailer.
Arha, the daughter of actor Allu Arjun, makes her acting debut as princess Bharata in Shaakuntalam. Arha seems really adorable, and her entrance with the VFX of the lion and Arha on it completely captivated our attention. Arha's first appearance on screen has delighted Allu Arjun fans. Shaakuntalam, a mythological film based on the play Abhijnanashakuntalam by poet Kalidasa, uses a lot of visual effects. The majority of the trailer's aesthetics are breathtaking, particularly Samantha's entrance amid butterflies and peacocks. Mountains, rivers, and everything else will all give off the ideal mythological movie mood.
The upcoming drama will also have important performances by Mohan Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Gautami, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, and Varshini Sounderajan, among others. The movie will be distributed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada and is produced on a sizable budget by Gunasekhar himself. On February 17, it will premiere in cinemas.
