Telugu hottie Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi-starrer period drama Virata Parvam has got a new release date.
The epic drama, written and directed by Venu Udugula and jointly produced by Rana’s father Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri, was earlier slated to hit the cinemas on 30 April 2021. Later, the release was further postponed to 01 July 2022, owing to Covid-19 protocols.
However, as per latest reports, the release of Virata Parvam has now been preponed and the film will hit theatres on 17 June 2022.

Noteworthy, the movie reportedly depicts the Naxalite movement that took place in the Telangana region of undivided Andhra Pradesh in the 1990s.
Virata Parvam also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao and Sai Chand in supporting roles.
Shooting for the project began in July 2019 and ended in December 2020, with filming locations including Vikarabad, Warangal and Hyderabad in Telangana state. Few portions were also shot in Kerala.
The film has music composed by Suresh Bobbili with cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and Divakar Mani.
