Renowned Kannada actor Yash, well known for his performance in the renowned ‘KGF’ trilogy, is slated to make his Bollywood debut in Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus ‘Ramayana’. Yash will purportedly play the mighty Ravana in this mega-film, for which he has reportedly demanded a whopping Rs 150 crore.
Tiwari has cast Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, according to industry rumours. The production of the film is anticipated to begin in February 2024.

Despite the fact that ‘KGF 3’ is on the horizon, Yash is eager to build a name for himself in Bollywood. He is said to be aiming to split his time between the two projects, proving his dedication to his craft.
Unlike his looks in the ‘KGF’ series, Yash is said to be keen to depict a new appearance as Ravana in ‘Ramayana’. According to rumours, the actor is focused with finalizing his new look through chats and planning sessions. He is also aggressively working on his physical appearance in order to fully integrate into the character.
It was recently stated that Yash will work on his movie, provisionally named ‘Yash 19’, with Malayalam filmmaker Geethu Mohandas. The project is now in the planning phases, with production slated to begin in December of this year.
Following the success of ‘KGF’, Yash has been selective in his next attempt. With proposals coming in from all directions, Yash will most certainly be picky about his screenplays.
