Ever since hitting the big screen on March 25, RRR has been racking up huge moolah at the box-office. The film, which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles and Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in special cameos, has already earned over ₹1000 crores and is on its way to topple more box-office records in days to come.

Right from critics to audiences, everyone is in awe of the magnificent world that director SS Rajamouli has created on celluloid. Not just in India, film enthusiasts all over the world are raving about the film. Recently, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan praised the film endlessly, saying south films tend to do extremely well in Bollywood but not the other way around.

Responding to his statement, megastar Ram Charan said, “I want a director from Hindi cinema to make a pan-Indian film which caters to even the south.”

“It is so candid and honest of him to say that but I believe it is not Salmanji’s fault or some film’s fault, it is writing; it is the director who has to transcend these boundaries of ‘we will watch our film in our language and things like that. Every writer should write a movie like Vijayendra Prasad (RRR) or Rajamouli and say ‘believe in it’.”

The actor further added, “And, of course, I want to make an Indian film where I want to work with talent from here (Bollywood). I want directors to explore the talent from the south and make bigger films so that we have bigger budgets and we see bigger numbers at the end of the day.”
