R Madhavan's film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022) is currently dominating the box office. The movie, which is based on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan's life, has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both critics and fans. Recently, an ugly incident occurred at a Kolkata theatre during the showing of the Madhavan starrer. This occurred not long after the show's interval. When the audience and theatre management got into a heated argument, the situation got worse. Later, R Madhavan urged his followers on Twitter to keep the peace.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was released on July 1 in a number of languages. The movie is doing reasonably well at the box office. After a screening of the film was cut short in the middle, some viewers in Kolkata lost their cool. They can be seen arguing with the theatre management in a video that is making the rounds on the internet. Madhavan tweeted a quote from the video and urged people to keep their cool. The 3 Idiots (2009) actor wrote, “There must have been a genuine reason and cause. Pls do be calm and show some love ppl. Humble request. The show will be in soon.all the love (sic).”
Meanwhile, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect also stars superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in cameo roles.
