Priyamani to play a pivotal role in ‘Pushpa 2’?

Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ garnered success like no other. The national and international recognition of the film is a dream for many in the film industry. Fans of the film couldn’t be more excited for the sequel. ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ has roped in Vijay Sethupathi who will join many of the retained cast, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Reports suggest a new addition to the team.

According to recent reports, Priyamani will also join the cast of ‘Pushpa 2’. The award-winning actor has reportedly signed the film for a pivotal role. The makers have not given any official report as of yet. Reports further indicate that the actor will be Vijay’s wife on screen and has read the script. The film's producer Y Ravi Shanka recently shared shoot details, “We have a strike going on here in the Telugu industry. Once the strike is over we will start from August-end, or whenever the strike is over”. It was said the film would release in August.

Allu Arjun’s viral new look was rumoured to have been for the film. Makers were prompt in denying the rumours. All we know is that the film is scaling up words and will be even grander than the first.
