Prithviraj revealed earlier this year that he will collaborate with 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ director Vipin Das on a new film named ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil.’ According to reports, the Perumbavoor Municipality has delayed the film's set building owing to unlawful landfilling.

According to Kerala Kaumudi, the Municipality took such action because the film's crew was unlawfully filling paddy fields with soil. It is believed that the team was constructing a replica of the Guruvayoor temple for shooting purposes. According to reports, the Municipality issued the stop notice in response to a complaint that the property was being filled.
The Municipality also stated that the team did not have prior approval to build sets. They further stated that because the building began without authority, it cannot be continued.
The film's creators, on the other hand, have confirmed that they have submitted an application for authorization and have been assured that the application will be examined at the council meeting. VC Joy, whose son Jacob Joy owns the field in question, said that the stop letter was sent owing to councillors' personal interests. He further stated that the letter was issued in his name, despite the fact that the field is legally owned by his son.
Vipin Das directs Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, his follow-up to the hit Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. The film stars Prithviraj Sukuaran, Basil Joseph, Nikhila Vimal, Anaswara Rajan, Jagadish, Yogi Babu, who is making his Malayalam debut, and many others.
