‘Shankar Dada MBBS’, Chiranjeevi's 2004 cult hit, was a blockbuster directed by Jayanth C Paranjee. The adaptation of Rajkumar Hirani's 2003 Hindi film ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi included an ensemble cast that included Meka Srikanth, Paresh Rawal, Girish Karnad, and many more.

In the most recent update, actor Meka Srikanth, who played Madhusudhan, commonly known as ATM, in the film, has turned to social media to announce that the cult classic would be re-released on November 4th, more than 19 years after its first release. The actor posted on his X (formerly Twitter).

About the Film:

‘Shankar Dada MBBS’ is a 2004 comedy-drama film directed by Jayanth C Paranjee and written by the Panchuri Brothers. The picture was one of the most popular releases that year, receiving favorable reviews from both fans and reviewers. In reality, both Megastar Chiranjeevi and Meka Srikanth won several accolades for their roles in the film. Devi Sri Prasad provided the soundtrack for the film, which was funded by the Gemini Film Circuit.

The ‘Godfather’ actor was most recently seen in Meher Ramesh's flick ‘Bhola Shankar’. It is a remake of the 2015 Tamil film ‘Vedalam’, which starred Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth, Tarun Arora, and many others.

The actor has three films scheduled for release in the near future, tentatively labelled ‘Mega 156,’ ‘Mega 157’, and ‘Mega 158.’ The films will be directed by Sushmitha Konidela, Vassishta, and Boyapati Srinu, in that order.

The actor will next be seen in Koratala Siva's forthcoming film ‘Devara’, which stars Jr. NTR. Janhvi Kapoor, Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, Saif Ali Khan, and many other actors appear in the film. The film will be released in two parts, the first of which will be released on April 5th, next year.
