Nayanthara to attend 75th Cannes Film Festival ahead of her wedding?

The most celebrated Cannes Film Festival will kickstart its 75th edition from May 17. There are many names coming up from the Indian Film fraternity who will be gracing the event. Amongst them could be Nayanthara. Though her fans are excited to see her on the red carpet, sources close to her have denied the rumour. The source have stated that, 'she is not attending Cannes.'

Well, for the unversed, Nayanthara and her fiancé Vignesh will be getting married on June 9. The ceremony is supposed to be an intimate one in Chennai followed by a grand wedding reception in Chennai.

Other celebs like AR Rahman, R Madhavan and Tamannaah Bhatia are said to be attending the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.

Reportedly, Pooja Hegde will be flying off to France on May 16th and the actress will be marking her debut on the red carpet. Also, Deepika Padukone is a part of the film festival as a jury member along with other celebrated actors worldwide.
