National Film Award: Suriya receives praises from Dhanush and R Madhavan after winning big for Soorarai Pottru

The South sensation Suriya is savoring his big day. Along with Ajay Devgn, the actor won an award at the 68th National Film Awards for Best Actor. Suriya received praise for his movie Soorarai Pottru (2020), while Ajay Devgn was declared the winner for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020). The Gray Man actor Dhanush and Rocketry star R Madhavan congratulated Suriya on his victory.

At the 68th National Film Awards, Suriya took home the Best Actor award for Soorarai Pottru. Soorarai Pottru, which was directed by Sudha Kongara, debuted on Amazon Prime Video in November. The movie, which also has versions in Telugu and Kannada under the title Aakasam Nee Haddu Raa, is the third-highest-rated movie on IMDb with a 9.1 rating. Soorarai Pottru stars Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Mohan Babu, and Karunas among others in crucial roles, with Suriya and Aparna Balamurali playing the lead roles.
